Our story

As a teenager, Alyssa struggled with unrelenting anxiety. She prayed that God would someday take away her anxiety and replace it with a joy so contagious that others couldn’t help but be joyful too. Thus began Contagious Joy Coffee Company with the goal of spreading joy to as many people as possible through the vehicle of coffee.

Our Owners

Alyssa and AJ are college sweethearts that both spent time as baristas at large chain coffee shops. They both have a deep love for ministry and coffee and want nothing more than to combine those two passions and share the joy of the Lord through every cup of coffee they make. When they aren’t making delicious coffee, they are probably discipling college students, hiking, skiing, or hanging out with their sweet baby girl.
